Verifying Your Paypal Account Using a Credit Card

For those who already own a credit card, verifying your Paypal account can be very easy. This can be done in few very easy steps:

1. Log-on to your Paypal account. For Odesk users, you need to link your Odesk account to your Paypal account.

2. After logging in, you'll be able to see your Account Overview. You will see a link that says Verify your account. Click it.

3. You will have to enter your Credit Card details on the form provided. Make sure you enter the accurate information.

4. After you enter your credit card details, Paypal will ask for the 4-digit code. At this point, you will need to wait for your credit card statement in order to get the code. Paypal will charge $1.95 to your credit card account. Don't worry because it will be credited back to your Paypal account once the verification is complete.

5. Once you receive your credit card statement or bill, you will see beside the $1.95 charge a 4-digit code which you have to enter at Paypal once you log-in to the website again.

6. After entering the code, you will then receive the $1.95 which was previously charged to your credit card.
